मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने रविवार को होने वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर प्रदेश वासियों को बधाई देते हुए आह्वान किया है कि कोविड-19 की वजह से घर पर रहकर ही योग और प्राणायाम करें।
उन्होंने अपने संदेश में कहा कि पहला सुख निरोगी काया, हमारा शरीर कर्तव्यों के निर्वहन का माध्यम है। योग रामबाण औषधि की तरह है। योग का अर्थ है, जोड़ना। आप सभी निरोग रहें, स्वस्थ रहें, प्रसन्न रहें और सामूहिक योग कार्यक्रम की बजाय अपने घर पर रह कर ही योग करें।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि नियमित योग और सूर्य नमस्कार अच्छे स्वास्थ्य के लिए उपयोगी है, आज कोरोना संकट के दौर में शरीर को सशक्त बनाने में इसके महत्व को दुनिया भी समझ रही है।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने योग को विश्व में महत्व दिए जाने का श्रेय भी दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की पहल पर 21 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस मनाया जाता है।इस वक्त कोरोना के संकट के समय योग अधिक महत्वपूर्ण हो गया है क्योंकि यह शरीर को स्वस्थ्य रखने और इम्यूनिटी बढ़ाने में भी मददगार है। मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि वे योग दिवस पर अपने निवास पर ही प्रात: काल योगाभ्यास करेंगे…
वहीं अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर अलख- सामाजिक एवं जन कल्याण समिति ग्वालियर ने आमजन को अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार घर पर ही रहकर योग के कार्यक्रम का योगाभ्यास करने का आह्वान किया है ..
इसी कड़ी में जिला योग संघ ने फूलबाग परिसर में विभिन्न योग क्रियाओं का प्रतीकात्मक प्रदर्शन किया और लोगों से घर पर ही रह कर योग करने की अपील की है ..साथ ही कहा कि योग के नियमित अभ्यास से कोराना जैसी महामारी से निपटा जा सकता है ..जिला योग संघ के सचिव अखिलेश पचौरी ने कहा कि इम्यूनिटी बढ़ाने में योग के विभिन्न आसन सहायक हैं ..इनका नियमित प्रयोग करके कोविड-19 से मुकाबला किया जा सकता है..
