ग्वालियर/ सरकार ने मुरार, दीनदयालनगर एवं ठाठीपुर क्षेत्र के वार्डों में करोड़ों रूपए की लागत से विकास कार्य कराए हैं। इस क्षेत्र के बड़े वार्डों में 50 से 60 करोड़ रूपए के विकास कार्य मूर्त रूप ले चुके हैं। विकास कार्यों का यह सिलसिला थमने नहीं दिया जायेगा। यह बात नगरीय विकास एवं आवास मंत्री श्रीमती माया सिंह ने कही। श्रीमती माया सिंह शहर के वार्ड क्र.-22 के अंतर्गत अशोक कॉलोनी में गुरूवार को विकास कार्यों का लोकार्पण एवं भूमिपूजन करने पहुँची थीं।
नगरीय विकास मंत्री ने अशोक कॉलोनी के सरकारी स्कूल में लगभग साढ़े 7 लाख की लागत से बनने जा रही बाउण्ड्रीवॉल और इस कॉलोनी में बनने वाली दो सीसी रोड़ का भूमिपूजन किया। साथ ही स्कूल परिसर में आंगनबाड़ी भवन का लोकार्पण भी इस अवसर पर किया। उन्होंने कार्यक्रम में मौजूद स्थानीय निवासियों को जानकारी दी कि जल्द ही मयूर मार्केट में डाम्बरीकरण तथा तरूण विहार, न्यू अशोक कॉलोनी, पीएनटी तिराहे से पीताम्बरा हॉस्पिटल, आसमानी माता के समीप तथा इस क्षेत्र की अन्य बस्तियों में सड़क निर्माण कार्यों को मंजूरी दी जा चुकी है। ये काम भी जल्द शुरू किए जायेंगे।
श्रीमती माया सिंह ने कहा कि विकास कार्यों के साथ-साथ सरकार हर जरूरतमंद को पक्का आवास दिलाने के लिये भी कटिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिन पात्र लोगों ने अभी तक आवेदन नहीं किया है वे प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत अपना फॉर्म जरूर भरें। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार शहरों का सुनियोजित विकास कर रही है। इसी के तहत अशोक कॉलोनी सहित अन्य बस्तियों में भी विकास कार्य कराए जायेंगे।
कार्यक्रम में क्षेत्रीय पार्षद श्रीमती सोमवती पोहप सिंह, श्री पुरूषोत्तम टमोटिया तथा सर्वश्री धीरसिंह तोमर, नरेन्द्र त्रिपाठी, शिवराज जाटव व विजय सक्सेना सहित अन्य जनप्रतिनिधिगण मौजूद थे।
लाड़ली लक्ष्मी योजना के प्रमाण-पत्र भी बांटे
नगरीय विकास मंत्री श्रीमती माया सिंह ने अशोक कॉलोनी में आयोजित हुए विकास कार्यों के लोकार्पण एवं भूमिपूजन कार्यक्रम में लगभग आधा दर्जन बेटियों को लाड़ली लक्ष्मी योजना के प्रमाण-पत्र सौंपकर उन्हें लखपति बनाया। उन्होंने इस अवसर पर कहा कि यहां की आंगनबाड़ी को आकर्षक बनाएं, जिससे बच्चे स्वत: ही आंगनबाड़ी में आने की जिद करें।
